Domaine Peirière is a 230-hectare wine estate in the heart of the Minerve area. Olivier, an expert vintner who inherited the property and the family tradition, carefully tends the vines.
The 40-year-old vines, associated with Azille's microclimate and Olivier's know-how, produce wines with red fruit aromas combining concentration and velvety tannins. Ruby in colour with some green leaf aromas complemented by red fruits, cherry jam and violets. It is supple and smooth with quite a weighty mid palate due to a few grams of residual sweetness. Grainy in texture, it has quite a firm acidity leading to a chewy finish with flavours of black liquorice.
